The latest version of Cinnamox-Heather I find was rel on 2020/08/01 (my B-day!).
It's written for Cinnamon, but has a fair number of CSS rules / selectors, involving Xfce4.

Question is, for the same object being styled (like panel & the open window buttons) does a Cinnamon.css rule always trump Xfce code for things like
.panel-bottom .window-list-item-box {
Because in LM 19.3 Xfce (32 bit), I seem to be able to change some panel objects with cinnamon.css or gtk.css (haven't tried every object or state (active, hovered, etc).

I'm confused by that. Obviously, code for same objects is different in gtk.css vs. cinnamon.css.
I was amazed I could change anything in Xfce desktop, using a cinnamon file.

In Cinnamox-Heather, I don't know if there'll be enough Xfce code in gtk.css file to put simple gradient on panel BG & different gradient on active & unfocused buttons, or if that's a fool's game? The default cinnamox panel & button colors aren't suitable for my better half.

So don't know if I should find an Xfce theme that's close to OK, then mod it?? Or set (cinnamox) cinnamon.css = .bak, then try to use the Xfce code.

I'm really not interested in, nor have endurance for, modding 2 completely different themes, from now till Gabriel blows.

After upgrade to LM 21.3 the theme doesn't work properly for a Qt-app

easykontakt
I have been using the small German address book app Easykontakt for years. It is written in Qt4 and Qt5 and was also very compatible with this theme - cinnamox. After upgrading to 21.3 this has changed. The program has the theme color in some areas, in others it remains white, and the font in the list is black on a dark background.

Is there a way to correct this? So far I have only found the Qt5 settings of LM. There would be a solution there if this gtk theme was omitted, but I would like to keep it.

Thanks in advance and thanks again for this nice topic!

App description is off the bottom of panel screen in Cinnamox-Heather

The Cinnamox-Heather theme (with a bit of transparency) is fantastic, but with one exception. When the drop-down (not rise-up) menu opens in my Mint 19.1 host computer and as I move my pointer along the listed apps, app-names (e.g., Skype) and descriptions (e.g., Skype Internet Telephony) appear at the menu's bottom-right-hand corner. (For clarity, the panel is across the top, not the bottom or side of my monitor.) The description appears below the name, but unfortunately off the bottom of the menu. (I'm happy to provide a screen shot, but cannot see how to do so here.) I thought that I might try to "tweak" the code to make the window a little bit taller, but I cannot figure out a way to either import Cinnamox-Heather into Oomox or to locate the theme's configuration files. So maybe the best way to approach this is to report it as a (sort of) "bug" in the Cinnamox-Heather theme. I hope that this is not too trivial a concern to be reported as a bug.

XFCE installation

Hi,

I've problem with VirtualBox 6.x because of color scheme bug so I've been advised to install this theme which looks great in Cinnamon and VirtualBox.

May you please guide me how can I install it under xfce4?

I'm using Linux Mint 20 xfce.

Need help with a custom theme.

Hi,

I hope you are doing fine. I tried my hand at making my own version, and I'm very happy with it, but I found a couple of things I need help.
First is that the color (pointed in blue in the attached screenshot) is not one of the colors I choose in the "colors" file, also attached. I would like to tone it down.

Also I couldn't found a way to make the title bar of the window that has the focus lighter than the one that does not has the focus. And it seems that it doesn't know it's a "dark" theme, is there a way to let cinnamon know?

Thank you for doing all this, best regards.
