Moving over to the SME Texaplex Virtual Chapter!

Currently, we lack the infrastructure to accept debit/credit cards to charge no-shows for training workshops. The amount of no-shows will be reviewed after a few training workshops and the current ($100 charge) policy will be re-implemented if no-shows are an issue.

• Add SME Virtual logo and link to main website.
• Add link to the SME Virtual Network Open Source Projects website.
• Add link to SME Virtual Network YouTube channel.
• Invite people to contribute to SME Virtual Network projects.

• Add "Cookie Notice" banner to bottom of page (GDPR requirement).
• Add Google Analytics tracking code.
• Add required legal notices on user privacy/data collection.

• Move hosting to GitHub Pages from Firebase Hosting.
• Add animated diagram for Getting Involved.
• Add news ticker to the top of the webpage.
• Add outdated browser notice for all web browsers that are not supported - in particular, we no longer support IE.
• Add GDPR cookie notice (for Google Analytics tracking).

Sponsorship avenues for the SME Virtual Network are still up-in-the-air at this point.

• [ ] Add color and tiles to draw attention to each SME Virtual Network supported platform.
• [ ] Add some subtle animations to capture user interest.
• Create interactive 3D scene for exploring supported platforms.
• Add scene area for Training Classes and Workshops.
• Remove all tracking scripts. SME Virtual Network does not track anymore.

The Blog will be temporary until Aperte is active.

We are no longer using Meetup.com as it is incompatible with virtual events.

The workshop details already discuss who is primarily contributing and what company/organization (if any) is sponsoring the production of it. This information just clutters up the homepage.

It is cool looking, but it is proving to be a distraction and it increases page load time for no reasonably good reason.

Add a Big Button at the top of the homepage along with a brief description so that existing and new community members can quickly find and join the SME Virtual Network Reddit community.

The DFW Leadership Committee is a local group of five (5) or seven (7) people that interface with local stakeholder (members, students) in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and the SME Virtual Network.
