Being able to remove a tag from a tag group in the ribbon instead of the ellipsis in order to prevent user error. I managed to delete my tag group by mistake as I accidentally pressed the delete button in the record ribbon because I could not see the delete button in the tag group field.

Adding a custom and/or stakeholder role to tags for easy external access.

Being able to organize tag groups within tag groups for better organization. For instance, have Customers and Leads as separate, lower level tag groups within a Marketing tag group on the top level.

The different tag groups displayed on the TagList control are missing spaces between each other

I am able to create connection in tables which have not enabled the thrusted tags control by using bulk tagging which appears in the ribbon when I select records.
