timekeeper's Issues

Flashing Infotip for Timekeeper on the Taskbar

When pointer hovering over Timekeeper on the Taskbar, and stationary, the infotip will flash rapidly and not allow Context Menu interaction with Timekeeper during a specific condition.

Specifically, once the right-side-border of the infotip has reached the right side of the monitors edge, then one additional pixel movement to the right will cause this condition.

A possible solution is to configure the infotip behavior for rendering itself to the left of the mouse pointer if there is not enough rendering space to the right of it.

This issue is especially noticeable when very few Notification Tray icons are present, as that places Timekeeper closer to the monitors right side edge.

Add GPS Week Number to calendar

I received this feature request in an email..

Thank you for making Timekeeper. I'm a retired land surveyor using it for my personal use and recently discovered it while searching for an easy means of knowing what the current day of the year it is (%j). This is very helpful for anybody looking for archived GNSS data at various repositories. It gets a little tricky, however, as we go back further and further in time from the present date as it requires counting back x days and then subtracting it from the present day of the year value.

There are other GNSS data repositories that need to know what GPS week it is (which began in 1980). Every 1024 weeks, there is a week rollover and is something you might recall being in the news a couple of years ago with the rollover's second occurrence.

One idea for your consideration as a Timekeeper feature request is to introduce a new format for displaying the calendar (e.g., %GPS).

I'm sure all surveyors and geodesists would love something like this.

Format colors are showing correctly in preview, but not in Win10 taskbar

Hi,

when I first installed Timekeeber, this was not an issue, but a couple of weeks ago, I noticed that there was no longer sufficient contrast to be able to read the date/time in the taskbar. The preview and hover-pop-up are fine on the other hand:

Changing the character color does work, but does not improve contrast in the taskbar.
Changing the background color or toggeling transparency does nothing in the taskbar.
