Question on how to start course for Module 2 / Github Learning Lab and migrating-your-repository

Discussed in https://github.com/orgs/skills/discussions/242

Hello,

I am new to Github, and following the Microsoft Learn Github learning course plan, with multiple modules. I completed Module 1. In that module, there was a green button "Start Course" to click to start the course.

I am now in the second Module "Migrating Your Repository". I see the readme file, and the goals of the course, but I don't see what to do, or how to start the course. There is no button to "Start Course" like there was for the first module. How are you supposed to proceed?

If I click on the course name, it takes me to a 404 page: https://lab.github.com/githubtraining/migrating-your-repository-to-github

Could this be updated so people can complete this module?

Thank you.

[Introduction to GitHub] Course feedback survey!

  1. I can't say exactly, but I think the part about editing a README file is interesting
  2. I take a technical course in Systems Development and I'm in my 2nd year, I'm still a beginner, but I know the basics of commits, pull requests and merge
  3. I had some difficulties creating a repository and editing the files contained therein, this course helped a lot with that part
  4. Because I'm Brazilian, I think the language of the course was a bit of a hindrance, but nothing that would make it impossible for me to do it.
  5. I would like to know more about shared projects
  6. I intend to use github to post some activities that involve programming and develop some teamwork
  7. I would highly recommend this course to any friend of mine who was just starting out.

Course feedback

Started well but stuck on item 3 Add a code example, the worklflow is not working or flowing, it has been an interesting 2 days investigating and learning about how workflows are supposed to function but I am not wasting any more time, sorry GitHub A for effort, D for results.

Hello,

  Hello,

I finally found by myself, but it could be great to include this information in the tutorial.
Probably at the end.
If I'm correct, I may suggest the modification with a pull request !
