Hello there,
great package, especially the ftp part.
I saw that the download_ftp_file function gets deprecated.
I tried the get_remote_file function with a combined URL (including the credentials). This way I do not get a connection to FTP with the error message below.
1: In download.file(url = file_remote, destfile = file_local, quiet = !verbose, :
InternetOpenUrl failed: 'The server name or address could not be resolved
Do you have any other way for that?
thanks and br
christoph

In addition: Warning messages:

Error in loadNamespace(x) : there is no package called ‘threadr’
I got this error after trying to install the threadr package. Any developmental versions of the package I could install instead?

Hello,
I keep getting this error while trying to install the thread package using the below code
install.packages("remotes") remotes::install_github("skgrange/threadr")
Error: Failed to install 'threadr' from GitHub: 'local_makevars' is not an exported object from 'namespace:withr'
Could someone please help?
When aggregating wind with aggregate_by_date
, do not error when negative directions are detected. A better option would be to omit negative values, warn the user, and continue with the aggregation.
There is an issue installing the latest version of the package.
