palette2-plugin's Issues

Feature: While in Multi Spool - manually trigger a filament splice to another filament

My idea for the palette 2 is having an autonomous print farm using belt printers. However as different orders could use different materials, why not use the palette as a filament changer. Finish one print, send a command to the palette to change over the filament. Print some changeover part and then start the next series of prints with the newly selected color.

@skellatore You seem to have a quite extensive knowledge of the omega commands used by palette so I'm sort of hoping you could implement this as a functionality in octoprint so I can adapt this for automated usage in my use case or if you got any documentation about the omega commands I would be more than happy to contribute a functionality like this.

Initial feedrate set to 10%?

Prusa MK3 - firmware 3.5.0-1749
DIY Canvas plugin ver. 1.2.0
Your plugin ver. 1.2.0-P2PP-RC1
Palette 2 pro: firmware 2.0.2

Palette 2 plugin screen reports speed normal... however mk3 lcd screen says 10% - printing is very slow. Attempts to change feedrate to 100% succeed for a short period of time then plugin reverts speed back to 10%

Repeated Preheat Warnings

Was warned 20+ times to preheat. I preheat after 1st warning. Still warned repeatedly. No option to cancel future warns. Once printer and palette is ready - cursor focus isnt there, because plugin is still warning in the background but new palette2 plugin warning?? takes a 2mins for you to be able to click ok for new warning.

Reverting back to users old config.yaml

For some reason I need to have the following set in my config.yaml or Octoprint rx buffer overruns very quickly:

serial:
unknownCommandsNeedAck: true

Info here:
https://discourse.octoprint.org/t/communication-timeout-error-after-upgrading-to-1-3-9/3022/9

So if I need to revert back to standard palette plugin after trying yours, that line is not reverted -- could your pluggin save users. I suppose this all depends how I re-install the standard plugin. Maybe a warning about installing your old custom config.yaml
