indicator-ip's Issues

Only icon shows

Greetings. Trying to get this running on Ubuntu 20.04 on a pi4b and I am unable to get the address to appear on the panel, only the icon shows. I feel like I'm overlooking something very stupid, so apologies in advance if that's the case.

Best regards,

Matt

IPs don't show in dropdown

This is a great utility, exactly what I was looking for!

I'm on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, fresh install.

The selected IP shows up in the System Tray, but your picture shows the dropdown showing all the IPs, mine appear blank.

Is there anything I can do about this?

Thanks again!

Xubuntu 22.04 bug

hello.
Thanks for the 22.04 update.

Unfortunately I tested on xubuntu 22.04 and I don't know why but only the icon is visible.

At no time does the IP address appear except in the popup when you click on the device (in the drop-down menu).

Any idea?

Jammy Package

I was wondering if there is a plan to add a jammy (22.04) package to the PPA?

Question: Change refresh intervall

Hi,
My app does not update at all or very seldom is it possible to increase how often the refresh is done? I would like to have it every 20 seconds, thanks

Refresh not working after enabling VPN

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS / GNOME 3.36.2, Indicator-IP ran on startup

IIP works just fine on startup; however, it doesn't refresh (either automatically or manually using the "refresh" feature built into the app) after I connect to a VPN.

Indicator too wide

Hi Sispheor,
Tried your version of indicator-ip on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Apart from it not changing value on the indicator when I change IP through VPN, the display is too wide. If I try to add it to the top indicator bar in "indicator applet complete" all the other indicators are pushed to one side and are crammed over each other. I have tried placing "indicator applet complete" on a separate panel but this messes up the desktop as there are no options to reposition the desktop folders in 20.04.
Could you please look into this? Many thanks and best wishes.

Install on Raspberry PI

Trying to add the repository returns an error. Is it possible to download and compile directly?
