Awesome Libs is an iPhone app that allows you to test open source UI components without Xcode. You don't need computer, you don't need compiler. You simply test libraries in your iPhone so you can see how they work on a real device. Online version.

  • iOS 11.0 or higher
  • Xcode 11 or higher
  • Swift 5 or higher

  • If you need help with implementing feature, use Stack Overflow and tag awesome.
  • If you'd like to discuss a feature request, open an issue here on GitHub.
  • If you found a bug, open an issue here on GitHub and follow the guide. The more detail the better!
  • If you want your library to be listed in Awesome Libs app, upload demo to Appetize.io, then open an issue here with GitHub link and Appetize public key.

We do not accept pull requests as well as any other form of contribution. But you can fork this repository and do anything that is permitted by the license!

How to run the app ๐Ÿš€

There are few ways to run the app:

  • Checkout the repository, open Workspace.xcworkspace, select AwesomeApp_OpenSource scheme and Product -> Run (or press Cmd+R). No additional setup is required.
  • Download on the AppStore. It's free.

What's the origin of the name Awesome Libs?

Well, there are two main reasons why we did that:

  1. There are many collections of popular open source libraries on GitHub. Usually these collections include the word awesome in their name. Examples: awesome-ios, awesome-swift, awesome.

  2. It's funny.
