The binary built through release.yml crashes on startup with a segfault:

An option to copy either the first translation or the entire result.

When I try to compile it on my Sonoma 14.0 MacBook Pro M2, the swift compiler crashes.

Workaround:
When I set DEBUG to 1 in the Makefile, it works and I can get the workflow to work.

Currently Alfred fails with ERROR: Linguee Search[Script Filter] Code 1: zsh:1: unmatched " when the query contains ".

Add an E2E test that requests translations from the real linguee.com for a fixed query string (e.g., "beobachten").
Add a workflow to run the test on commit and release.

I've noticed on a few occasions that sometimes results are omitted. Here an example where "salón" isn't shown spanish <-> german:

With Xcode 13.2 it should be possible to deploy async/await code to macOS 10.15+. Check if this is something to consider instead of Combine.

When searching on Linguee the translations often include objects or case for them or reflexive pronouns. Enrich the results with this available metadata.

Using source= query parameter a translation direction can be specified. E.g., source=english would look for translations from English.

Add an abilitiy to force the translation direction.

Periodically execute a check for new releases, when searching for results. Put an upgrade message among results with a custom icon.
The notification should be the last on the screen. E.g., 9th of more than 8 results exists, or simply the last.

• Implement GitHub releases monitoring.
• Do not request more ofter than once every 5 minutes.
• Do not request more often than once a week since last successful latest release response.
• Control the feature using a check_for_updates variable.
• Update Feature list with "Automatic checks for a newer version" entry.
• Set a custom icon on the update suggestion.

I could imagine I'm not the only one who would like to translate between multiple language pairs. I think there is nothing about that in the documentation and probably it's also not possible within the workflow itself?

Nothing appears after entering keyword l. The version I use is English and Chinese, m1 macbook big sur 11.6

Currently, if the release.yml workflow is re-run, it will update the binary in the existing release. Instead, it should create a new draft release.

Will this deepl api fail? Do we need to set the api ourselves? Also it would be perfect if the key could add a "Translate" function! Really like this app, thanks again!

Certain words (e.g., verbs) often have a placeholder attached: *etw.* mit sich bringen. It is currently stripped away.

Add an option to add linguee search as a default search fallback: https://www.alfredapp.com/help/workflows/triggers/fallback-search/

Create a binary for both x86_64 and arm64e (a.k.a. Apple Silicon) archs.

The search results should navigate to a page with a language matching the language of the selected translation. E.g., if search for "Lift", and a row with translations to German is selected, navigate to the page with only tranlations to German.

Extract the workflow configuration into separate files, and create a process to create a new workflow based on the repository state.

Potentially #2 needs to be done as part of this.

I tried to translate english to chinese or japanse,
but the results are displayed in grabled,

it maybe an encoding issue.

for example:

• destination_language: japanese
  

• destination_language: chinese
  

Current the version is compared using string comparison, which would yield a wrong result once the version steps over the 9.

Where workflows contain hotkeys, the hotkeys are stripped out when you import the workflow, to ensure that these don't clash with your existing hotkeys. You can set these easily by double-clicking the hotkey object to show the drop-down where you can set your hotkey.

Currently the error is displayed as a search result, in case there was an error. Add an option to copy and report the issues.

Current one week value delays discovery of the bug fixes or other consecutive releases for too big time period.

Environment alfred_debug has value of 1 in debugging mode.

Add an optional parameter for copy behavior. Options:

• formatted search term, traslations, and the results link (default);
• copy results URL;
• copy first translation only (w/o wordtype or any other metadata).

Searches using qe parameter differ from the ones with query parameter. E.g., qe="hello returns results for "shell", but query="hello" – results for "hello" (without quotes).
