Cool, I tried it. I can remember this was a Voyetra product? Made for Win3.11, 16 bits. Thanks for all the effort but..... there are some issues.

When you start the station for the first time it starts and shows an exception error. Second try it starts and hangs (desktop icons flickering) and I killed it via the taskmanager. Third try it starts and shows some draw issues. This has something to do with font-scaling (standard 125% in Win7 and above), the window of the application does not support proportional scaling. This results in weird black window areas and drawings like time and such appear on the wrong location. The application window is also not resizable.

The application itself works fine however because of the drawing issues it isn't pretty to look at.

Currently the *.lng files have the code page "UTF-8" which results in wrong character presentation of the application like this:
Example of "german.lng"

If the code page of the file itself is changed to ANSI or Unicode, the characters will be displayed correctly:

hi, these are some suggestions for your very interesting music player:

1 - add WASAPI and ASIO support
2 - add .flac support
3 - fix the master audio volume - it is too loud, I almost hurt my ears after clicking on the knob because it was on maximum and it just blasted the music so loudly on my ears. apparently it only "works" after you click on it, this is why the sound wasnt as loud before I tried to change it.
4 - I'm not sure if this is possible to implement, but the program would look much nicer if it had its own window box, instead of the default Windows one. you know, something that blends in with the program's aesthetics.
5 - bug report: when you try to change the MIDI volume knob, the program crashes.
6 - bug report 2: when you click on the Previous Track ( |< ) button for the General Midi, it too crashes, this time informing of a runtime error -2147418113 (8000ffff) "-1 is not a valid hexadecimal number".

Windows XP 32bit.

I was able to install the program fully, associate a soundfont, and start Audiostation. It works until it throws some errors about WASAPI (Which only started appearing in Vista)

Is there no way to use this on a Windows XP system?

My problem is the newer version of Audiostation wont play WMA (Windows Media Audio) files. The older version of Audiostation what i installed on my beautiful Lenovo Ideapad Gaming laptop what had Windows 11 OS works 100% and this version can playback MP3 and WMA Files. Newer can playback only MP3 files.
