LookAround

AngularJS Learning Playground ( with some more items like Twitter bootstrap, Google maps API, TDD using Karma runner )

What we're going to do ?

It'll be a simple application using Google maps API to load the location service and find the nearest ATM,Bar,Hotels, Pubs ..etc. Google is already providing this information on their Google+ page –– but as I said earlier, we'll be mimicking the same for our learning purpose.

Update : I couldn't set up the tests using karma due to time constraints. That's the next item in my TODO list.

Google Maps API

need to update the GoogleMaps API on this demo as it's been blocked by Google to access it.

Heroku: Upgrade to Cedar-14

Currently the Codeship builds are failing because we use the old cedar in Heroku.

i am trying to learn this app . It is beautifull app . but when i am running this on my localhost it is
providing me an error that the google api key is not the valid key . i have changed the key in the file where you include the google api link i.e in index.html

can you please tell me what is the reason behind the error ??

util.puts: Use console.log instead (warning in web server logs)

Replace all occurrences of util.puts with console.log

Change assets' reference to local

Currently, assets are referred from cdn, update their reference to local as mentioned here .

Resolve Google Maps API warning: SensorNotRequired

Support for searching using city/area name

As of now, we can search using only zip code. But Google supports searching by area/city names

Greenkeeper has checked the engines key in any package.json file, the .nvmrc file, and the .travis.yml file, if present.

engines was only updated if it defined a single version, not a range.
.nvmrc was updated to Node.js 10
.travis.yml was only changed if there was a root-level node_js that didn’t already include Node.js 10, such as node or lts/*. In this case, the new version was appended to the list. We didn’t touch job or matrix configurations because these tend to be quite specific and complex, and it’s difficult to infer what the intentions were.

For many simpler .travis.yml configurations, this PR should suffice as-is, but depending on what you’re doing it may require additional work or may not be applicable at all. We’re also aware that you may have good reasons to not update to Node.js 10, which is why this was sent as an issue and not a pull request. Feel free to delete it without comment, I’m a humble robot and won’t feel rejected 🤖
