This is an Android application for pdxBranch - a networking site for developers in the Portland, Oregon area. Currently, users can create an account and log in to create Posts that are added to their news feed and profile. Posts can inlcude pictures taken on the device. Users can also search for groups on Meetup. By default, 10 Meetup groups in the tech industry will be listed on the "Groups" screen.

This project is still a work in progress and the following features are not yet implemented:

• Adding friends
• Adding comments to posts
• Adding timestamps to posts and comments
• Sorting posts in reverse chronological order
• Creating pdxBranch groups
• Option to log in with GitHub

You will need the following things properly installed on your computer.

• Android Studio

• git clone https://github.com/sheenanick/pdx-branch-android
• Open Android Studio
• Select 'Open an existing Android Studio project' and find the cloned repository

• Create a virtual device in Android Studio and run the application
• Or connect an Android device to your computer and run the application on the device
