Project Description

The project, Hotel Management System is a web – based application that allows the hotel owners to ensure the hotel management will be done efficiently. Mainly the system focuses on two categories of users.

The customers of the hotel will be provided with a hotel web site where they can admire the details of the hotel and its services.
Administrator along with the authorized managers of the departments will be provided with a log in to the hotel management system which will enable them to handle and manage their respective departments. Mainly the system focuses on Employee management, Hotel management, Reservation management and Restaurant management.

How to get started with application

Prerequisites:

Install a windows web development environment such as XAMPP or WAMP (Local Host)

Procedure of setting up prerequisites and run the project:

Download the project from repository.
Unzip the project.
Copy the project file to required folder of the local server software.
- C:\xampp\htdocs in XAMPP
- C:\wamp64\www in WAMP
Start local host server.
Import aurelia_hotel_db sql file to phpMyAdmin database.
Give your local host url with the folder path to run the application.
