math-at-point's Issues

Doesn't handle summing negative numbers

Hey there, thanks for this tool!

I've noticed the following form doesn't seem to get recognized correctly by math-at-point...

3 + -20

;;=>

Result -20 => -20

Support LaTeX Expressions?

Hi! This looks really cool and seems to work great in org-mode which I use for quick notes! I wonder if it could be extended to support LaTeX expressions?

I'm not too familiar with Elisp or this codebase, but I wonder if it's possible to check whether the point is in a LaTeX fragment using, eg. org-element-at-point?
Perhaps calc's LaTeX language mode could also be leveraged?

Do you think this feature makes sense? Mostly, I'm hoping to be able to evaluate fractions and complex exponents.
