My first "production crash" was when I was 14, I'd just started working part time with PC maintenance and broadband installation. I was asked to change the power supply, but instead of unscrewing the power supply's screws, I unscrewed the power supply's internal fan's screws. It led me to realize, that until that point the power supply had always been a black box to me, I never questioned it, and that led me to think about what else I hadn't questioned.
