As reported in XDA by user SanJoseCA the VPN when disengaged crashes every now and again. This needs a fix ASAP. I have reproduced the issue on Nexus 5 stock Android 6.0 with root.

Steps to reproduce:

• Turn on and off VPN repeatedly until a crash occurs

Downloaded any number of free apps, all of them loaded with ads and not one of them blocked. OfficeSuite, and MapMyRide are but two of them. Why?

Please block ads in way2 app. They come as sponsored ads inside way2 app

Nexus 6 with Marshmallow

User got an update notification, but clicking it did nothing. Tried reinstalling AdClear, but it wouldn't install. Rebooted, and it installed along with the update (I believe), but the update we pushed yesterday brings the same problem.
Asked user to go to his downloads to see if he could manually install it from there, but no file existed besides the original download.

More info needed to see if this affects other phones.

Clicking on Advanced Protection from the menu does nothing. Expect it to open the Advance Protection page?

Beta Build ending in 1244

When I use the Opera Beta browser with its built-in adblocker, Opera is able to block the "Sponsored Links" on the Kijiji.ca website.

However when I only use Seven AdClear, the "Sponsored Links" ads appear. Appears on Chrome browser, not on Opera Beta browser as its built in adblocker does not show those sponsored links. See screenshot below.

ZTE K85 Tablet

When I have it turned on and I can't see my watch lists on YouTube.

The latest in recent speed issues. Need to find a root cause for actual experience problems rather than an up/down disparity that has no effect.

For those that have issues with getting a blank screen when selecting Additional Lists try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Stop AdClear thru the app
2. Remove the Advanced Protection certificate (see app FAQ)
3. In Android Settings, Force Stop AdClear and clear both Cache and Data
4. Uninstall AdClear App
5. Power off your device
6. Boot device into Recovery Mode using power button and volume down buttons (web search this, works on non-rooted devices)
7. From the Recovery Mode menu, Wipe the Cache Partition only!!!
8. Once Cache Partition is wiped, reboot device
9. Re-download and Re-install AdClear
10. Additional List screen should work now

Tested and Verified above steps on:
ZTE K85 Tablet (non-rooted)
Android 5.0.2
AdClear 5.50.1544.0

When i activating ad remove basic and advanced protection, youtube looses internet connection and the internet connection in internet app goes on and off.

User tried to enter in the code ten times, and his phone factory reset and wiped out his SD card. Lead programmer says the code would have been "7777" if the user had no choice in the matter.

Plz create whitelist option in next version. I don't want to filter financials apps.

The ads that primarily seem to keep getting through are the wait 5 seconds and skip ads.

AdClear seems to be preventing hotspot from assigning DHCP to whatever's connected. If i set static IP the tethering/hotspot works..... if i turn off AdClear DHCP Offer works....... it will continue to work even if i turn AdClear back on, and fail again if i restart the phone.

Not a big issue but thought you should know.....

When I try to view the list of games that QooApp is offering for download while its filtered, I get a continuous looping circle instead of the list.

In addition to above, ads are getting thru / showing up on cerain websites. Currently ads are appearing on the KAT.CR domain website.

After charging the phone and leaving it running 24/7 it is consuming close 70% of my battery. Android 6.0.1, Samsung Galaxy S7

Additional lists from the menu is extremely slow to load the page but opens up quickly when we go through settings.

This has been observed in 4.4 as well (27351). The URL sits while loading and never completes. Appears to be related to the certificate.

When I ping some of my servers from my phone (using Tasker, but the same result is also using terminal), when machine is down, I still get response as if it was up.
This is rather a big issue for me.

This is an app for streaming from IP cameras.

On device running Android 4.4, streaming works.
On device running Android 6.0.1, streaming does not work and causes force close of your app. Strangely, VPN key is still present, I just get the error about app crash.

On huawey Mate s, with or without wifi+, tethering the wifi to another device cause the device keep still "connecting".
The issue seems to be rekated to the IP address that is not provided back.
As workaround, I putted Adclear off, then connected the other device to my wifi, then switched on Adclear and the connection still work.

Youtube ads are not blocked...whenever i play video in youtube app it shows ads.it is very annoying. Plzz fix it.

Every time I upgrade, additional lists that I enabled are disabled again. It would be nice to store the settings. Thanks.

We are getting several notices of AdClear draining more battery than it should be. This isn't tied to the inflated numbers on the Battery screen; in general, people are seeing a notable decrease in battery life throughout their day.

Tapping on or sliding a On/Off slider will not change it's state. Instead it applies the current state again(e.g. disables an already disabled list).

Repro: Tap/slide any slider inside the app.

Many apps still display ads even with the advanced protection on for example "Japanese talking translator". I have followed all the instructions to get the vpn etc but still displays ads.

When the next version is updated？

When install AdClear, additional Filters are often not displayed, white screen. Refresh countless times may be displayed. It's been a couple of hours today, and it's not showing up yet.
All versions are the same, v502687 is not the same situation.

I really like your app, and I have installed it on several of my devices, and most of the time it works well!

Now, my primary phone - a Sony Xperia Z5Compact, it works sometimes... I recently did an uninstall/install, and then it started working fine, but it has now stopped working again.

After reboot of my phone I get the notification "AdClear has lost permission to use the vpn" - I open the app and it says enabled, and I can't see any setting that I can change anything. After that it says:
"SEVEN AdClear Disabled. AdClear has been disabled. Touch to open app"
I open the app - it says 0 blocked today and "Protection enabled" [latter in green] on the top. I can toggle the protection label with the button.
I have the key in the notification bar and "Network may be monitored" notification - so things are like they should, right? But when I now open an app with google play ads (which I know AdClear should block when it works), like LocalCast, then there are plenty of ads, and it still lists 0 blocked in AdClear.

Phone is running Android 6.0.1 and I am on local Wifi (but I get the same results on data/4g). AdClear just updated itself to 6.0.0.502921

I don't see any way to re-enable the permission to use the VPN...

I'm on the latest beta, the internet connectivity speed is too slow. apps are taking long time to load pages. When I disable the adclear protection internet speed comes back.
I'm facing this issue in every apps. Even the apps that are on the whitelist also loads slowly.

Pop-up and vibrating ads are shown. Is there any way to block pop up ads and vibrating ads? I mean when i try to download files from some sites my phone starts vibrating and a pop up will come like saying your phone is in danger or phn got virus scan now/install antivirus or maybe install this app to remove virus from your phone, click here to download games and movies etc like pop up and vibrations.

on my tablet chuwi v88 android 4.2.2 stock, adclear doesn't start , the red line under the red key says "adclear was disabled for vpn error". I installed the regula release and also the beta, but the result is always the same, is there a way to solve this issue? thanks

I'm on LG Leon android 5.0.1 and when I click on the additional list it just shows a blank screen.

Trying to open Google.in page and it says Google returned no data back.
Disabled the adclear VPN and fetched Google page fine.
