css-playing-cards's Issues

scale in div?

I have a DIV that scales when resized.. is it possible to make the card fit into that div and follow the div?

Add chess symbols for faces

Inspired by Jeff Yaus' cards [http://www.folded.com/jeff/goldfish/cards/], the cards without faces should have chess symbols [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chess_symbols_in_Unicode] instead of the faces. Although I'd choose a pawn instead of a knight for the Jack. The white ones should be used for "playfulSuits".

(Question) Full Faces?

This is the best playing card lib I've found around. Congratulation for the great work!
Just a question though, why are the faces shrinked this way? Have you considered an option/style for drawing "realistic" cards with full faces, or is it intended to keep it simple this way?
Thank you so much for your answer,
Alex.

Improved appearance for checked cards

When a label is linked to a checkbox by nesting or for attribute the checkbox doesn't need to be visible - it is operated by clicking on the label.

If you structure the card html as

<input id="some-id" type="checkbox" />
<label for="some-id"> <!-- card html/content --></label>

clicking the label will operate the checkbox and sibling selectors can be used to alter the appearance of the card.

Add different faces

The current images for the faces are not ideal. Research for simpler ones which could also be shown across the whole card when the card is small.

Clarify licensing

I haven't found an explicit license for usage of this project.

The comparison linked on the main page says this is CC-BY-SA, the README on faces says the images there are LGPL.

I think a simple statement on the README would do, the most permissive would be CC0 if that's intended, CC-BY-SA 3.0 would be a reasonable choice, but without any license I think all rights reserved have to be assumed.
