When the user clicks the "New topic" button in the document explorer panel, nothing happens and an exception is raised in the application logs.

Extensions should be able to read and edit text in the editor.

After creating new table rows using the TAB/TAB key, the text in cells may be misaligned.

Add an option in Edit menu to trim the selected text (remove spaces at begining and at end).

The content stats in the status bar do not update automatically.

The application should have the ability to manage a glossary.
The glossary rendering should be customizable using the document theme stylesheet.
The "glossary topic" should be managed like a Cover page or automatic table of contents in the document structure panel.

Creating an extension for PowerDocs requires to use Javascript or Typescript in an IDE.
It would be better to provider a .d.ts file to help devs in this task.

Add a document structure panel to the PDF preview dialog to make it easier to navigate in the document instead of having to scroll back to the table of contents.

Add the possibility to set a custom watermark to the document (for example: confidential, draft...)
The text must be customizable.

Extensions can add custom markdown sections, such as the "Swagger custom block renderer".
The "Insert > Section" menu should show the custom sections that are registered by extensions to help user insert them in contents more easily.

Navigating in the PDF preview is not possible when clicking the table of contents or using custom anchors.

When the document summary contains a lot of headings, there is no vertical scollbar to navigate in it.

The application supports built-in variables that are replaced when the document is rendered.
Adding a menu Insert > Variables would help the user to insert them in the content.

In order to give more capabilities to extensions, it should be possible for devs to open a hint bubble next to selected text (like the app does natively when clicking a special markdown tag for example).

Icons for commands in menus should be colored and render correctly in light/dark mode.

When opening a document in a new instance, an error appears.

After deleting a topic, open a small popup at the bottom of the main window to quickly cancel the action.
The popup should stay visible for only a few time, like some recent web apps.

It is possible that the application hangs and crashes when using a recently installed font as the default one for editor.

The Trim selected text will reduse the selected text when is ends with a space (to fix an annoying behavior of RichTextBox of WPF).
However, when the selection is only white spaces, it should be skipped.

Add the possibility to show a sticky panel that shows the current heading hierarchy like the recent IDEs.

Add contextual tools to edit table easily:

• Buttons in front of rows to quickly insert a new row
• Buttons on top of columns to quickly insert a new column

The tools should appear when entering a table.

Copy a URL string in the clipboad.
Paste it in PowerDocs editor and it converts it to a valid MD link :

[TEXT](URL_FROM_CLIPBOARD)

This feature should be enabled by default.

In application settings, the user should be able to edit commands keyboard shortcuts.

Application only supports Light and dark themes
This enhancement will bring support for various themes (JSON files) available in the app extensions module

On Windows 10 the title bar icons are replaced with squares.

When the selection is empty, CTRL+C or CTRL+X should apply to the whole paragraph like most of recent IDEs.
This option should be enabled by default.
