@Ashmita89, I think you verified that all of the copies of initialize.py and build.py are up-to-date across @SeattleTestbed's repos. Correct?

OK, once #7 is under control, can you create forks+branches to update initialize.py across repos?

- initialize.py should let you skip existing DEPENDENCIES/ subdirs HOT 1
- Build Scripts do not work with Github's branches HOT 3
- Harmonize build/initialize's interpretation of the PWD HOT 1
- Build script should work on sub_build_config in dependencies repos.
- `initialize.py` may clone into dirnames containing `\r` HOT 1
- Comment parsing of config_initialize.txt does not allow #-preceding whitespace. HOT 4
