What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Beg, borrow or steal iPad photo adapter with USB adapter
2. Plug iPad adapter into USB keyboard, see that it works on iPad (in fact im 
typing this now)
3. Put DOSpad into full screen mode and try using the keyboard, doesn't work ;(

It would be awesome to be able to use a proper keyboard and DOSpad. it should 
be possible as iSSH uses a custom keyboard similar in vein to DOSpad

DOSpad beta for iPad via Cydia.

In DOSPad 1.98 CTRL and ALT virtual buttons doesn't work in Doom itself, 
however does work in Doom setup application.

iPad 3.2.2 fix a security hole, but at the same time disable the previous fix 
in dosbox/cpu/dynrec/cache.h.  

Need to find out a LEGAL way to allocate executable memory space.

would any one think this will work i know it will add the pcap lib as a 
dependency but i believe this will be very helpful.

     Some games and even operating systems may require more ram. The iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch have way more then 16 mb of ram and if coupled with virtual ram you could have even more available ram. There are patches online including dosbox-x http://vogons.zetafleet.com/viewtopic.php?t=31881  that allow more then 16 mb of ram. Why do this? Well it's because some operating systems that can run require more ram and if you try windows 95 or higher you could install KernelEX which allow current apps that would run on XP to work. Which would allow those who really needed a system to use this. So could you change dospad so you could use more ram maybe with the memsize option in the config?

1. Jailbreak iPad 2 using Absinthe / GreenPois0n to iOS 5.1.1
2. Attempt to download DosPad 1.97 from Cydia after adding source
3. Receive "Size Mismatch" error

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected output is an installed version of DosPad. Results in error instead

Attempting to install 1.97 on iPad 2 jailbroken on iOS 5.1.1

I expected a correct looking keyboard, instead I see garbage.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using v1.98b on iOS 7.
