Travis build should do make install about scribus HOT 9 CLOSED

travis complains of needing admin privileges. I need to read up on using sudo and what that entails.. IIRC there were some hoops to jump through using it.

You can use CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX to install to a user-writable directory (e.g. ~/.local).

@khaledhosny adding make install to OSX builds makes it fail due to:
The job exceeded the maximum time limit for jobs, and has been terminated.

is there a way to optimize the OSX build or should I just remove the make install from it?

I have no idea, that build does not seem to have finished make so don’t see how make install is involved.
