the regex looks gross AF right now. I wish there was a way to make it more readable.

in C I would do something like defining each chunk of the larger transaction regex as a macro

#define DATE_REGEX "\d{2]/\d{2}/\d{4}"
// and then compose like...

#define TRANSACTION_REGEX DATE_REGEX##DESCRIPTION_REGEX

this is probably simpler in python and can be done with string concatenation or something... BUT I haven't done string concatenation with raw strings (which is what I'm using for the regex) so I'm not usre

LoadCacheFromDisk and SaveCacheFromDisk preferably

for now we just cache the whole string so.

hence if a transaction comes in as "PATREON 0124342498234" then only transactions with that exact description will match. Add some interface to allow a user to specify that they would like the substring to be "PATREON" in that case
