Good ideas. I like configurability, too...hence Extrabiomes functionality in that area...originally, I hadn't planned all these new blocks and this was meant just to make better looking trees in Extrabiomes...since that was all it did, I figured I didn't need the configuration options. But now...
Yep...need it.

maybe disabling the log turner and set it to another (already existing) item id, so this item is the new log turner.

@stertingen I wish that were possible, but whoever makes the other item has to make it function as a log turner...but, I provided an API so they could. I can include an option to turn of the default turner.
