Hi Scott,

My ViewModel needs to call the DataVerse API in the onLoad event using some of the input params.
However, in the StandardControlReact class, the context is initialized after the ServiceProvider, meaning the onLoad event of my ViewModel throws a this.controlContext is undefined error.

If you switch the order of these 2 lines, everything works fine (I'm doing it manually each time for now :-) )

Any chance you could update this in the source itself?

Hi Scott,

From what I understand the StandardControlReact does not support the use of Virtual Type coded components (the name kinda hints this), as the UpdateView() method in StandardControlReact is only for standard types.

Is there a way to implement StandardControlReact so that it can be used with Virtual Type coded components? Or is the only way to use Virtual Type components, is to edit the UpdateView() in a class that implements the ComponentFramework?ReactControl class?
