Patient status is an important element for the network queries as many clinical indicators usually pertain to active patients only. This issues will be raised with GPI but we may have to mitigate it by deriving the status by seeing when patient had their last appointment (e.g. is it in the last 2 years, etc).

Unfortunately, E2E doesn't support date of death so this will limit us in identifying active patients even further.

E2E supports date of birth but not date of death which is surprising. Date of death is an important element for evaluating patient status (active vs inactive) and may be important for several clinical indicators/research questions.

This issue is to be discussed with GPI. Logging it here as it may impact SCOOP query design.

PLz what do u mean by BC users i didn,t get it ??

Can we make an assumption that the data that a patient has not consented to share will not be in the end point? If not, then we need to determine how consent is tracked and evaluated and what data is queried. Something to think about. E2E allows recording of consent (on a document level).
