In the EMC portal, PI [email protected] has a collection [email protected]_01192022_1359. Which has a directory with multiple files (https://gateway.iubemcenter.indiana.edu/collections?parentResourceId=3c015460c3deab74eef80ec47966069dc9e663313a2a2ffb136222590c7ecc88)

When in this directory the portal stops responding. Cannot go back or go to a UI selected from the left navigation.

When selecting a user role in the sharing screen, the options are Principle Investigator, Observer, and Researcher. Once on of theses roles is selected, the role changes to Admin, Editor, and Viewer respectively.

I logged in to the EMC portal as an Owner of multiple collections.
In 'Shared by Me' page, all my collections are listed and when i click share icon, it shows only myself and Isuru as owners.

Even though nothing is shared, all are listed as shared by Me.

This is for the EMC tenant admin

Collections, files, groups, labs delete function is not yet implemented. so for now, its ok to hide the icon.

Currently, since the PI level and below is displayed, when a PI is working with multiple EMs multiple PI directories will be displayed but PI or the EMC admins will not be able to know from which EM. Currently which EM details are in the meta-data.

It will be useful to have the EM level also added to the directory structure in My Collections, Shared by Me, and Shared with Me UIs.

storages//create new storage preference

When PI logs in and navigates to a directory of a lab user, cannot go back to the PI's directory. The breadcrumb on top has collections and the lab user directory.

Created a collection group as an

Owner of a collection. Tried to add a Note and save it for the collection group. It did not get saved and the page kind of froze. Exceptions thrown.

Currently, the portal has the storage preference creation only and when a preference is created, a new storage is always created. So, we need.

1. If needed, allow selecting one from an already available storages.
2. Visualize the storage preferences under storages. (I want to see which storage preferences are under which storage)
3. Enable picking default storage.

When tried to download a file from my own collection getting the attached error with the code "502 Bad Gateway".

As an EMC portal PI, searched using width=384.
Multiple files should have got listed but only a single file was retrieved.

I think we don't need to have OWNERs and EDITORs at EM level.
In one of those EMs I am the OWNER, what does it even mean?

Also should one be able to share everything with another user at EM level?

PI tries to download a file from a directory under the PI's directory.
Some files can be downloaded and some fail. Getting a request status as 'CORS error'

Pagination needs to be implemented for ease of navigation through directories and files.
The implementation is required in both the data lake and EMC portal.

Minor changes to My Collections in the EMC portal

1. The Lab name to display for each collection/file record.
2. Owner label to change to PI
3. Display the PI name and email (screen length/space could be an issue to show all the data for each record)
4. Size to populate in the collection listing
5. When displaying thumbnails, if the thumbnail is not existing, have default thumbnails to display.

The lab creation page shows the path "Collections/New Lab" instead of "Labs/New Lab"

There's no error displayed if the GET /metadata request fails

Since there's no mention about sign-up (either manually or via cilogon), users are confused if they should go straight to cilogon or not.

Logged in to the portal using CILogon and on the portal, in the Collections page, there are no display of collections but see these errors in the console.

Tried adding a collection and a file into a collection group.
From My collections UI, i can select the group. No, save button.

When I looked at the collection group from Collection Groups UI, the added collections and files did not exist.

After a user signs in with cilogin but before they gain any higher levels of access, the user doesn't have access to labs or groups.

Now that we have added the EM level into the collections page, please remove the PI name from the listing. When the EMs are displayed PI name is not correct as there are many PIs using a single EM.

In the Collection when looking at shared users and groups, the "GROUP emc-admin" was appearing twice as an editor at PI directory level. When i added another editor to the collection, now with the new editor the "GROUP emc-admin" is appearing 4 times !!

Similar for Owner Isuru as well, its appearing twice.

Please have EMC portal SSL certificate on auto renewal.

1. A single file is shared with me by Isuru. Its listed in 'My collections'. When clicked the share button in the list, my name is not listed.
2. But, in 'Shared with Me' UI, there is a whole list of files shared with me by Isuru but here also my name is not listed when i click the Share icon.

Tried to download a file as a gateway admin in https://gateway.iubemcenter.indiana.edu/.
The file path and the file is in the attached image.

Nothing got downloaded or an error was displayed to the user. In the network inspect tab I see "bad gateway" response.

Logged into the EMC portal as a PI, cannot create collection groups.

In the portal (https://gateway.iubemcenter.indiana.edu/), when clicked, 'Share' icon to view the shared with users, can see multiple occurrences of the same group/user. This needs to be fixed. I was logged in as emc-admin

Copied a directory with 3 files and logged into EMC portal and it was available there. Then while staying logged in, copied another directory with a child directory and files inside and tried to view from the portal Collections page. No collections are there and see error messages [1] and [2] in the console network tab.
