Infrastructure

The site is built and hosted using GitHub Pages and Jekyll.

Building locally

You can build and view the site locally with:

bundle install
npm install -g bower
bower install
bundle exec jekyll serve

The generated site is available at http://localhost:4000.

The Scala Project is a misnomer

At the bottom of the home page I see "The best way to help is to get involved in the Scala project!" but if you Google "The Scala Project" you don't find anything. Maybe "The best way to help is to get involved in Scala projects!"

A record is "a thing constituting a piece of evidence about the past, especially an account kept in writing or some other permanent form."

This is not the case with membership regulations/agreement.

proposal list is incomplete

The list of proposals at the bottom of https://scala.epfl.ch/projects.html stops at 9 … there are currently 11. Might be nice to automate this, or just have a link to https://github.com/scalacenter/advisoryboard/tree/master/proposals so you don't have to worry about keeping them in sync.

The project titles should be links to the GitHub repos

There is currently a small GitHub button but it's not obvious enough.

This repository is confusing

We should probably transfer issues to scala/scala.epfl.ch and remove the issues feature from this fork, or even delete the fork (we can work on the scala/scala.epfl.ch repository)
