It would be wonderful if Batch-Uninstaller could be added to the official F-Droid repositories.
AFAIK it's a bit more complicated to have it published but it's much better to have it in the official repositories than having to trust another party like IzzySoft in his repository.
Thank you in advance and have a nice day!
OnePlus 7, rooted. Thanks.
Add ability to search for specific apps by name or associated tag/category.
Add ability to hide system apps when selecting apps to uninstall.
Hi Sarbajit
I just found your app on F-droid. Thank you. I'm delete apps like Flash now !
I would like to help to translate your app into French, if it's possible.
If you are interested, let me know.
I have a github account but I'm not comfortable with it (but I'm working on that).

Thanks
Batch Uninstaller is an open source app that allows users to uninstall multiple apps at once. It works under two conditions
When the phone is rooted
When the phone is not rooted
If root permission is available on the phone, users will be able to delete any app on the device(system apps and user apps). However, a device that is not rooted cannot uninstall system apps. Only user apps can be uninstalled. Users can filter by system apps, user apps, and all apps. Also, it has the sort feature where users can sort by name, size, date and so on. The app is designed in a way that made it easy to uninstall apps. However, an improvement in the filtering process would add more uniqueness to it.
The batch installer app has three filtration features that make it easy to search for apps to be uninstalled. However, I would like to propose a feature that will make the process more unique.
The feature I’m proposing is
This feature will have strata which are the filtering of dormant apps based on time/period.
Filter dormant apps by time/period: This feature will give users the opportunity to filter apps that have been dormant on the device for a certain period. There are usually many apps on devices and the way we use them varies. Some might be used once or twice and abandoned. I have several games on my device and if I want to talk about the ones I play often, I will point out just two to three. Others were played maybe at the point of their installation after which I don’t play them again or seldom visit them. There are other apps like that too lying fallow on the device. This proposed feature will fetch these apps regarding the period of their dormancy. E.g. apps dormant for 1 month, 2 weeks, 3 months and so on.
Another feature I will propose is “set time to uninstall dormant apps: This is a fast way to uninstall dormant apps on the device. User will set the period they want dormant apps to be uninstalled on their device. For instance, I can set that any dormant app for a particular period should be filtered and uninstalled. I wouldn’t need to search for dormant apps on my device because every app that falls into that category will be uninstalled by the batch Uninstaller when the time I set for it reaches. This feature will only work for user apps. It will have no effect on system apps in order not to delete vital apps that might for one reason or another be dormant on the device. Also, there will be a time limit for apps to be tagged as dormant. It can’t be less than a month. Apps can only be tagged as dormant from a month upward. So the feature will be implemented in such a way that users won’t be able to set time/period below 1 month.
Filtering dormant apps based on the time they are lying fallow on the device
From the image above, when app is filtered from January to April, all dormant apps within that period will be displayed.
Setting time to uninstall dormant apps at will depending on the settings
The above image explains how user can set the app to uninstall dormant app in a future date. Once the date reaches and the app detect or find any dormant app, it will be deleted straight away.
Filter dormant apps by time will make it easy to get all dormant apps based on their usage. If, for instance, every dormant app are filtered by 5 weeks, every app that has not been used within that period will be filtered and they can be selected and uninstalled or
Uninstall all in a batch.
The set time to uninstall dormant apps is a very nice feature that will always help users to remove apps even when they are not aware. Once the time is set for dormant apps to be uninstalled, the app carries out its operation at the due time. These features are nice and it would be nice if they are considered and implemented on batch Uninstaller.
Hi. As the title, I would like to suggest to you, as an alternative, to add the ability to permanently disable, without uninstalling, the system apps.
App is not getting uninstalled on my pixel 2 having android Pie. It is only showing toast as app uninstalled, but actually it is not.
Hi, I have a rooted Oneplus 8 (Android 11). The app doesn't work with system apps. It just says "failed to uninstall com.google.youtube" and so on for the others.
You can add Screenshots for F-Droid, too, if you want.

Crashed with the first app I tried to uninstall. I granted root permisssion then tried to uninstall Microsoft Word that Samsung had installed as bloatware.
I got the message "Unfortunately, Batch Uninstaller has stopped". The application is still in the list, but the size has gone down from 71MB to 1.1MB. I tried repeatedly, but it crashes every time.
Phone is Samsung J5 SM-J500FN running Android 6.0.1. Rooted with Magisk.
Can you add a panic button? must have root privileges. A slider button to quickly delete pre-selected apps, in case of panic.
With the app being open source: Mind to give a download location alternative to Playstore – e.g. attaching the .apk
to the releases/
– so folks without Playstore get a chance to give it a try?
I think it would be useful to let the user review the apps that are going to be uninstalled, since, when selecting many apps from a large list, they might have selected an app by mistake.
Does it also clear the app data & cache?
I searched and cannot find any mention of it
so I've been using your app lately for managing system app of some identical device..
I've managed to pull the preset db from data partition for later use, but as always if we push some file to data partition, always need to restart device to make it work..
i think, external storage is simpler to store and read from for the preset db..
thanks in advance
Aloha There, (Assalam Alaykom)
Add history option
to save the names of the uninstalled apps
Thanks in advance
Hello, please add dark theme.
Steps to reproduce:
Expected behavior:
After selecting the option, the dark theme is applied correctly and no error occurs.
What really happens?
After selecting the option, the dark mode isn't fully applied and the text of the applications information disappears. (the theme overrides it)
Environment:
Device: AllCall S1 X
Manufacturer: Teksun
ROM: Android 8.1 Stock/Unmodified (armv7)
Batch Uninstaller version: 0.97
Could you please attach the APK to the 0.95 tag? Thanks!
for the tags 0.91 and 0.92, you forgot to increase versionCode
and versionName
in your app/build.gradle
, hence it wasn't updated in F-Droid yet (which still has 0.9). Could you please fix that? Thanks!
