local.branch.current.lastCommitTime key value misses timeparts after hour

The same problem exists for remote.origin.url

most probably because ":" symbol is used to join the result lines

There's nothing gulp specific here. Make it a normal node module instead so anyone can make use of it.

gulp plugins are for file-based operations! If you find yourself shoehorning a complex process into streams just make a normal node module instead.

You have to write "event-stream": "~3.1.0" in the dependences

Thanks for your great gulp plugin! Works awesome on Mac, although, I do have a problem in Windows (I know!), the returned JSON is malformed for some reason:

{ '\'local.branch.current.name,\' ': 'master',
  '\'local.branch.current.shortSHA,\' ': 'abcde',
...
}

Maybe is a known issue? I'll try to find the reason and report back if I find it.
