Introduction

  • Android Fitness App
  • Designed and implemented an online course app where users can attend/drop more than 120 video workouts, interact with other users and their broadcasts in the app’s forum.
  • Implemented the Android app with MVC architecture, Android Gradle, Google Firebase Database.
  • Developed a data crawling and cloud-uploading tool with Python urllib3, lxml and google.cloud library for fetching and uploading more than 120 videos, 400 images, text instructions required in the application.
  • Created more than 50 APIs to search/sort/add/update courses, post/comment/like broadcasts, comment/follow/unfollow users from 15 tables (JSON tree) in database.
  • Designed and created data models and more than 110 key/value pairs in the non-relational database.
  • Implemented a forum with real-time chatting room for posts and user related operations using Firebase Cloud Messaging with authentication.
  • Enhanced data security using google.capillary library for message encryption and decryption on the server side and client side.
