If you try to write to an output file in a directory that doesn't exist you get a segmentation fault. Code needs fixed to create directories when they don't exist.

The code needs to b commented better, possibly broken into smaller functions for code complexity sake, and made a little easier to comprehend (especially the code that checks for the //= require "file/path" statements).

Add documentation to the readme for the //require "file/path" feature.

Comment the code and perform cleanup to make it easier for others to interpret without having to study the codebase first.

Make it so in order to require files via the //= require "file/path" comment notation you must provide a -r flag to the command line.
