Sorry to post here - I posted on the forums, but you may not have seen. I finally got my battery installed and whilst I’m on E7 and not Flux I was planning to set up your palm to run on my Synology NAS. Unfortunately I’m struggling! I was hoping to run it as a scheduled task, but it’s not working. When I try to run via SSH I get an error about a missing module - presumably the version of Python on the NAS lacks some extra needed bits and pieces.
I think I should probably be running it with Python in a Docker container, but that’s beyond my capabilities at the moment…. I have a few things running in Docker, but those were straightforward to setup as they were already standalone containers.
I also wanted to ask what the second charge slot feature is, and whether that can be disabled if not using it? Is that intended for use with Flux, and if so - how does it work?
Any advice much welcomed!

Hi there, I am considering switching to Cosy - though I have A2A not A2W - and was wondering how the second charge slot works? I remember you said it is no longer dependent on CO2 figures. My goal is to charge overnight, then also recharge in the second slot, to effectively ensure I am constantly using low rate.
Hi there, my AC3 died so haven't been able to test the "winter" season until today when it was finally replaced. I need to pull the new code to my fork, but I believe I have uncovered a bug. To prevent oscillations when at 100% the inverter is paused as I read the code. The inverter is un paused one hour before the end of the charge period. This morning, my inverter did not unpause and the battery charge and discharge power stayed at 0. Looking at the logs, the SOC reached 100% at 6:11 AM. The charge window ended at 7 AM, so the battery had missed the unpause window, I think?
Hi there, I have been running palm_soc very nicely on my Synology in a docker container for a while now. I decided it was time to update with your latest, which now deprecates palm_soc.
Unfortunately I am getting an error, not sure what is causing it. It looks like it is not getting the right load history info? See below what comes up in the log before the container stops:
File "/pi/palm/palm_unmodified.py", line 1020, in
ge.get_load_hist()
File "/pi/palm/palm_unmodified.py", line 202, in get_load_hist
