This is the README for Ryan and Ivan's Orbital project, SkillNet

SkillNet

SkillNet aims to fill a gap in the current landscape of university education by providing a platform for students to collaborate on projects, share knowledge, and foster a supportive community that encourages learning and skill development in various areas.

Installation

  1. Make sure you have Node.js version 17.8.0 installed. You can check your Node.js version by running the following command:

    node -v
  2. Execute script command:

    npm run setup

Usage

Instructions on how to use SkillNet. Provide details on how students can collaborate on projects, share knowledge, and engage with the community.

  1. Execute script command:
    npm run start
  2. Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000/.

Inaccurate like status

Likes are not registered correctly sometimes, leading to users being stuck unable to like/dislike posts
