treetop-client's Issues

Use DOM element API wrapper internally

The standard DOM element API has quite a lot of clutter, this leads to some very unfortunate bugs that I had hoped to avoid by making my logic very basic. In practice, the issues have proven very difficult to enumerate causing an unacceptable number of checks and conditionals in many places in the code.

It seems like the only way to make interaction with the DOM manageable, even for a basic use-case, is to use a shim that normalizes the API. This shim should be used internally and should not need to be documented or exposed in any way.
