certbot-dns-glesys's Issues

Installation error on Debian 8

Hi! Thanks for providing this plugin, just what I was looking for.

However I'm getting this error message when trying to install the plugin on Debian 8 Jessie:

Downloading/unpacking cryptography>=0.8 (from acme>=0.17.0->certbot-glesys)
  Downloading cryptography-2.1.4.tar.gz (441kB): 441kB downloaded
  Running setup.py (path:/tmp/pip-build-KeVYwy/cryptography/setup.py) egg_info for package cryptography
error in cryptography setup command: Invalid environment marker: python_version < '3'
Complete output from command python setup.py egg_info:
error in cryptography setup command: Invalid environment marker: python_version < '3'

I'm not familiar enough with python to understand how to proceed. I've got both python 2 and python 3 installed on this machine:

# python --version
Python 2.7.9
# python3 --version
Python 3.4.2

Certbot is also installed and working fine:

# /opt/certbot/certbot-auto --version
certbot 0.21.1

Any suggestions how to get the plugin installed?

SWAG integration

Hi!

Can this certbot plugin be integrated into SWAG or might there be computability problems?

PyPi guide is out of date

Could you rewrite so that the PyPI-site just redirects to the github?
I had some misshaps because i used the old PyPi guide

Deploy plugin as a snap instead of using pip3 for compatibility with certbot

certbot project now recommends and maintain snap instead of PyPi/pip store when installing. This is a request to do the same with this helpful plugin :-)

certbot
"While we strongly recommend that most users install Certbot through the snap, you can find alternate installation instructions here."

pip
pip tool as installation method has been deprecated:
https://www.theregister.com/2021/05/25/pypi_search_error/

snap store with other plugins
https://snapcraft.io/search?q=certbot-dns

pip3 package crash

I don't know if you're maintaining the pip3 package, however when i tested it out i got this error:

https://gist.github.com/Lillecarl/0675730265e9e304b3fc76f9ad7ca812

So what i did was i removed the leading space and the trailing / in the base URL variable, which resolved the issue and gave me a certificate.

The command i used was certbot certonly --server https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/directory -d *.dicloud.se -d dicloud.se in case that's of interest (using new wildcard compatible API ๐Ÿ‘ )

I didn't try installing it from your repo, i know very little about both the python environment and language so this is all i can do ๐Ÿ˜„
