I was having the same issue on windows 11 i went into runelite properties and had run this program in compatibility mode for windows 8 selected, i turned it off and restarted and the line went away

I got a grey bar at the bottom since one of the updates... I can manually fix it by minimizing/maximizing every time though.

We don't know why this happens, and it doesn't happen to very many people (or to us). If you can figure out any system settings which affects it we would be interested in knowing what it is.

Little more info if it helps, it seems to only appear when I launch runelite through the jagex launcher. If I launch runelite by itself, it does not appear, but since I have a jagex account now I can only launch through jagex.
