No matter which request I make it always returns error 403, same reason why the travis builds are failing.

Both of these queries give the desired result (sort by year) when accessing the API directly, but not when using jaod_article_search:

jaod_article_search(query="green", sort="year:desc")
jaod_article_search(query="green", sort="bibjson.year:desc")

I'm seeing this for any DOI search I conduct:

It should be ...08-27... to be ISO 8601. Not sure if this error is delivered by DOAJ or introduced somewhere here. Does anyone know more? cc @Steven-Eardley
