Installing

On Arch Linux

Install from the AUR

paru -S ronix
# yay -S ronix
# Or install ronix with your favorite AUR helper

Not on Arch Linux

Get the AppImage here

Features Roadmap

  • Plays music (All traditional music player features)
  • Fuzzy search

  • Song manager (Ability to edit song tags, delete songs)
  • Song downloader with yt-dlp

How to start

  • Install pnpm
  • Install dependencies with pnpm i
  • Start in development mode with pnpm tauri dev
  • Compile with pnpm tauri build (AppImage builds only on Ubuntu)

Compilations

Are there any plans to implement compilation support i.e. a single album with different artists? Currently Ronix splits the tracks into separate albums making a mess.
