usbflashprog's Issues

AM29F support

Hi, if I understood correctly, this programmer is able to r/w to AM28F flash. So my question is, can this programmer r/w an AM29F flash?
As I read the datasheet for AM28F and AM29F they are both similar in terms of r/w but the only difference I have noticed is voltage levels: AM28F has 12v, and AM29F has 5v.

New action and panel "Extra Features"

The proposal is to have a new action Extra features, which is enabled when the device has extra features than those proposed in the main UI.

For example, an AT28C64 EEPROM has a feature to read/write 64 extra bytes, called Device Identification (see the AT28C64 datasheet).

Additionally, this same device has an alternative Erase mode, as described in the same datasheet.

The idea is: the Extra features action (in the case of this device) should open a panel as demonstrated in the following mock:

Using the system ??

Sorry to leave this as an "issue" but I couldnt find any other way to contact someone re this intreaging project.
I am very interested in building this but cannot find any user docs (probably my fault).
Given that it plugs into a PC via USB - what software is run on the PC ??
I assume it may be just a serial emulator in which case where can I find the commands and arguments ??
If its a program on the PC - where can I find it ??
All the very best,
Dave
