My usage of TI-specific toolchains was dropped in favour of using Yocto or Buildroot directly, as the TI pre-packaged toolchains have a slow release/support cycle. I considered these Dockerfiles deprecated as of March 31, 2022 - and they were removed on June 12, 2024
Support was been dropped in favour of the similar (and more consistently named) robotpajamas/gcc-arm-none-eabi starting on March 31, 2022 - and the associated Dockerfile was removed on June 12, 2024.
Debugging commands when you forget the tag gets kinda annoying. Found this out the hard way when testing with podman
Using this flavour, with the embedded toolchain takes about 20-30% minutes off of build time
Buildroot LTS was giving me problems with Bullseye and GCC10 - however, a quick sanity test, I was able to compile using this combo on 2021.11
They're just getting a bit annoying to look at
These might be as simple as just using the gcc base - so maybe they don't need to exist, but I need to be able to work on these independent of buildroot/yocto
RC2 for now, but should be released soon
Most of these problems are in the base container, but should do a first pass over them anyways
Similar to buildroot and the rest, would be nice to have a standalone environment for this for those rare yocto projects
I don't really use these directly anymore, as they were more trouble than they were worth - should just kibosh them (or at least, mark them as deprecated)
