Hello world of crowdfunding !
We are a 15+ backers of a USD $100.000 fraud on Kickstarter
and we have already raised $330 to put the fraudster to justice
and if necessary file a class action against Kickstarter.
We do NOT fight Kickstarter, we love Kickstarter.
That is why want to make it a better place: (proposals to Kickstarter)
That is why we run our campaign here - alongside with all the frauds
that were allowed to run by Kickstarter.
We will build a worldwide platform to help victims of crowdfunding frauds:
- how to file a criminal complaint in you country.
- how to find a lawyer.
- how to raise money.
- etc.
So you all might be happy to follow us along.
Please share to all the victims of crowdfunding frauds - there are hundreds of thousands of us !
Why the $100k Zoommaker fraud is special:
- There was a very intensive backer effort in the comment section to get this campaign suspended.
- When Zoommaker hid his identity with 'We have submitted our company information to Kickstarter by the requirements of the platform. We do not want to publish our company information to avoid malicious targeting by our competitors.'
Kickstarter confirmed this with 'We’ve investigated and determined that it doesn’t violate our rules or community guidelines. ...'.
- When later the fraud had become plain obvious and backers asked for the creators contact details to push legal actions, Kickstarter said we need to research the creator before pledging any money and that they don't offer refunds.
(4. Kickstarter allowed the creator to issue a fraudulent update with old photos.)
our plan (with your help):
Strategy will if we indeed have to enter court, then we have already won because Kickstarter by then has fully proven their ignorant behavior that is fostering fraud:
- done - set Kickstarter a deadline to hand out Zoommakers contact detail.
- todo - set Kickstarter a deadline to inform all backers of the fraudulent update #5
- done - $250 funding from 11 Zoomaker backers.
- todo - $2.500 campaign on Kickstarter and on a competing crowdfunding platform.
- todo - ask 4 successful (2+ campaigns) and trusted Chinese creators to ask their 12.322 backers for support.
- todo - file criminal complaints in three countries to make prosecutors claim Zoomakers contact details from Kickstarter.
- todo - Verify these contact details in Hongkong to file a criminal complaint there. (only from now on at least several $100 are needed)
- todo - if contact details are invalid, file a civil action against Kickstarter: compensation for damages / loss suffered.
- todo - If Kickstarter denies, file a criminal complaint against Kickstarter for partner in crime.
- todo - File a $30 million civil action against Kickstarter because their system is rigged to allow fraudulent campaigns get away so Kickstarter can keep their commission without damaging their reputation.
Every failing campaign sooner or later gets into the 'scam zone' where they no longer follow the rule of transparency and deceive their backers with fraudulent updates.
When every backer of a failed tech campaign would only donate $1, we could raise a few hundred thousand US dollars !
So our basic strategy is to grow bigger and bigger.
Not to kill Kickstarter but to make it a better place !
We all want crazy campaigns and Kickstarter wants to be "The Wild West Of Crowdfunding" to foster creativity.
But fostering fraud is in itself fraud.
We want to precede so all crowdfunding victims can follow.
That is why put everything open source on Github (the heart of open source)
@ALL, please join to finally make crowdfunding a better place :-)
