gnome-shell-permanent-notifications's Issues

Version from gnome-extensions.org not ready for 3.8

I'm opening this issue here because the fork by @bonzini doesn't have an issues section.

Apparently the code here on github has been updated to work with Gnome version 3.8. I installed the extension from gnome-extensions.org a while ago. When I switched to 3.8 from 3.6, the extension stopped working. Re-installing it from gnome-extensions.org is not possible, because apparently the version available there is not compatible with 3.8 yet.

I tried replacing my version with the code from the 3.8-compatible version here on github (bonzini/gnome-shell-permanent-notifications), but that did nothing. The metadata.json now clearly states the compatibility with 3.8 (I even added "3.8.3", which is my exact version). My extension still shows up as incompatible with the shell version in gnome-tweak-tool and I can't activate it.

Can you please update the version on gnome-extensions.org or at least advise me what to do to get it working on my gnome 3.8.3?
