yoke-android's Issues

[minor] Hide navigation bar

I couldn't figure the code for these on my own. I'd need to keep track of many Android good practices and intefaces.

My device is configured to use a navigation bar instead of Back, Menu and Overview hard keys. In these devices, this navigation bar isn't hidden in the Yoke webview; see the black strip at right hand:

softkeys

(In my case, I enabled the navigation bar editing props.build, but some devices don't have these hard keys at all. Do you have easy access to one of them, to check?)

This means that some screen estate is wasted, and it's easy to exit the app by accident. This is especially frustrating because as soon as you open some other map, the controller disconnects from the web server.

F-droid

Since Yoke is FOSS; would you be so kind and make it available on F-droid?

worst app ever.....
maybe you should give some better instructions in your README file...

Is a newer update available?

From what I can see the commits are quite active but the latest version is the one from 2018. Could you please build a newer version and push it to the stores? Or provide some instructions on how to build it ourself?
Thank you very much!

Button presence

Hi, thanks for the nice application!

I didn't manage to have buttons working. Are they linked to hardware buttons on the phone?

I need a button for ROS which using one button as enable-switch. Do you know any mean to have a button working.

Thanks,
Gaël
