Thanks for all the support. I bought a isy994i to replace my isy991 specifically to use this solution to have a smartthings door open sensor to control my insteon lighting system. However I have never been able to find the ISY in step 2. Is there something I'm missing. I installed the apps in "My Smart Apps" by coping the code from github and have also added both the dimmer and switch as device in the "My Device Handlers" Section. Can't get the ISY to pop up. Any advice?

Not sure if you are still do much with this but last few days I have started getting an odd error and I am not sure why. During a refresh in the logs I see:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Command 'getDataValue' is not supported by device f2492ec6-017f-405d-93cd-bef5965940e0 of type 'ISY Switch'. Supported commands: [on, off, poll, refresh] @ line 66

Any ideas?

I notice there is another plugin for isy and Smartthings

so do they work together? The other has more device types.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but want to know which way to go with this

After having added a single node I went back in to add more, which was not possible, so I attempted to remove the isy and re add it, but since having clicked remove, there is no next button on the first step so after I have typed in my username and password I am stuck.

Richard, Your ISY integration is a lifesaver. I have the devices each working independently, but errors when trying to control them through a routine. I am a newbie at the smartthings API and could really use the help. On a broader note, if you are available for consulting on an hourly basis, I would be grateful for the help. Thanks! NK

Detects the ISY IP address correctly but after selecting the ISY, pressing Next does not do anything and the app hangs. After sometime, there is a dialog box which offers to either wait or kill the app or send a report.
With 5.0, UDI has changed lot of things. If the SmartApp can be fixed for 5.0, it will be great.

I was having trouble getting it to refresh the list of light switches in the ISY and ended up having to remove the ISY completely from Smartthings and re-add the ISY as a new device. It could just be me.... what steps do you take when you want to re-update the list of light switches?

Example: After adding the ISY to Smartthings, I installed new light switches in the ISY and I want the new switches to show up in Smartthings.

Thank you very much for this integration. Is it possible to have brightness control within SmartThings? Also are there any plans to make this compatible with scenes or programs?
