Hallo Björn,
auf der Suche nach einer LaTex-Buchvorlage bin ich auf deine sehr beeindruckende Vorlage gestoßen. Allein die Vorlage ist ein Meistewerk!

Ich habe dein Repository heruntergeladen und mit Texpad geöffnet.
Beim Übersetzen wurden drei Fehler angezeigt.

1. "Package selinput Error: Cannot find a matching encoding." mit dem Verweis auf Zeile 36:
   \SelectInputMappings{adieresis={ä},germandbls={ß},Euro={€}}
   In der Fehlermeldung wird folgendes angezeigt: l.36 ...adieresis={ä},germandbls={ß},Euro={€}}
   Wie sind die Dateien codiert? Da die Umlaute nicht richtig dargestellt wurden habe ich auf utf8 umgestellt.

2. ! LaTeX Error: File `MinionPro.sty' not found.

3. ./preamble/packages.tex:1104: Emergency stop.

Mit welchem Editor und auf welchem Betriebsystem wurde die Arbeit geschrieben?

Da ich gerade erst mit LaTex angefangen habe, wäre ich über ein paar Hinweise zur Fehlerbeseitigung dankbar.

I dont know if youre German or so, but i'll write in English now :-) I love your template. I am currently writing my bachelor thesis and if it would be okay for you I will use your template. I am new to latex.
Here is what i get when i compile your code:

preamble/makeCommands.tex, line 243

Syntax Error: found \end{tikzpicture} without a corresponding \begin{tikzpicture}

I googled a little but I cant solve the Problem. I found the \end{tikzpicture} and \begin, looks normal to me. Also checked line 243. I tried using Texmaker and now an online Editor called ShareLaTex, but I get the error with both.

Can you please help me, or give me a hint?

Hi, I couldn't find on your profile a way to contact you so I'm writing here.

I have tried to look at the code but there really is a lot of it, and I can't seem to isolate the portion that renders the \chapter and \section headings. What packages did you use to get the number to show in the right margin? Can you point me at the right .tex file and line please?
