Geophysical Electromagnetic Modeling (rifGEM) is a software for calculating Magnetotelluric Forward Modeling.

This is free and opensource software under GNU General Public Licensed. Use at your own risk but enjoy if it works for you. Other softwares can be downloaded at RifLab

Tutorial

  1. Intall Python and library
  2. Run the python code
    1. 1D modelling (one_d_modelling_window.py)
  3. You can chenge parameters (Maximum Period, Number of decade, Periode per Decade, Resistivity Value, Thickness)
  4. Then, clik Run
  5. You can also Save Model and Save Data
  6. Enjoy for educational purposes only
