Hey, great work with this fix. I do have these following issues. When i start the game the launcher works fine but after that the game works just in a small window of 1/4 size of the desktop(it is not windowed cos i can't resize or fullscreen that window it just shows 1/4 of the game image on 1/4 of desktop) it's not a big deal cos everything works fine if dgvoodoo2 is used. Second issue is some small graphical glitches in the game, wierd flickering textures on the book shelve in the starting room and on the robot "first boss"(didn't get any further so i don't know how it looks further on) it's possible to fix those flickering textures if in dgvoodoo2 anisotropic filtering is enabled but that introduces another issue(weird squares on the walls) None of these issues are game braking buggs and the game is playable so not a big deal but i thought that i'd report them anyway.
tried to find better contact info .
i have a issue with dxgi.dll from reshade. the game is star citizen, and it used to use the dxgi.dll from reshade easily.
DarkStarSword of 3dmigoto confirmed that his ; star citizen which is the same version game, and reshade, as mine, does use dxgi.dll. so there was a change in my windows 10 system to prevent dxgi.dll from being used.
I want to use 3dmigoto which uses d3d11.dll and reshade, without renaming reshades dxgi.dll. so that i can use both reshade and 3dmigoto at the same time. as i said, DSSword confirmed, they both work together . just my issue is my dxgi.dll is not working unless i rename it to d3d11.dll. which i cant because then 3dmigoto wont work....
im in this loop i tried hooks and injectors, and trying to figure those out where a pain . i still dont get it, and i even tried asi loader, but cant say i even did that right. i need a easy solution. please if you can help ?
Can't seem to get this to work, any tips?
Hello,
A no-cd or HDD support would be really great because the game only rely on the letter where the game is installed by default which is something really annoying.
Since the audio is not in redbook form, there is no really interest having it inserted.
On the french release, I have to use the setup.exe from the disc to get the game playing, toy2.exe doesn't let me play directly despite having the game inserted or mounted through a software (toy2 is not correctly installed).
On the USA release, the game seems to not have thoses issues however.

Thanks!
It seems that Buzz Lightyear uses the same engine and has many things in common with Toy Story 2 (Windows even states that buzz.exe original file name was toy2.exe (screenshot)).
It even shares many if not all the problems Toy Story 2 PC had, like stretched widescreen, framerate issues on modern PCs, the "Unable to Enumerate Device" error and so on, but it misses any community patch like this one.
Would it be hard to adapt this patch to Buzz too? It would be fantastic, many thanks for your work.
You know, in a similar vein to most modern games? 9x-era games tend to save data to the installation folder itself but this was worked around in NT with a virtualised folder of some sort for non-privileged apps.
I'm not sure if this is a result of the patch, (I'm almost sure it isn't) but I say this brought up in a different issue (But wasn't explored further) and I couldn't find anything on this anywhere else on the internet.
When I try to boot the game (from toy2.exe) or even setup.exe, it claims that the game is not properly installed and needs to be reinstalled. This even occurs on a fresh install, but does not occur if I launch the game from the installer after reinstalling it.
Any clue as to how I fix this? (Using an American copy BTW)
I may be missing something, but when I try to start the game at 1920x1080x32 only a tiny top-left-most portion of the game is shown, while the rest of the screen displays whatever is running in the background in Windows.
When I start at a different resolution such as 1280x720x32 it goes proper fullscreen.
Maybe it has something to do with my computer being a 1366x768 laptop connected to a 1920x1080 TV via HDMI? Windows is properly displaying at 1080, though.
Oh, I'm using an Intel HD 5500 GPU by the way.
Anyway, it's a great fix, thanks!
I wonder if this bug can be fixed?
Have it on Windows 10, thanks !
The boss is very hard...
"In the PC version of Toy Story 2, a boss battle on level 12 featuring Emperor Zurg has a speed glitch on some of the modern Windows versions including Windows XP, 7.
The speed glitch has caused Emperor Zurg to continuously evade Buzz Lightyear from ever touching him rendering the game nearly impossible to beat.
However, you can still beat Emperor Zurg, the way to do this is by getting him cornered and trapped between 2 wall corners. Once you get him cornered, charge up your spin attack, release the spin attack, quickly jump forward and pull back, otherwise your fall down, repeat this until he gets defeated.
This Speed Glitch only happens in the PC version and does not happen in the Playstation 1, Nintendo 64 or Dreamcast version."

Hi. First off, thank you for this awesome fix. I can finally play this game with no issues.
I wanted to ask you if you could solve the Nvidia DSR issue. Basically, if I select the DSR resolutions the game just closes. I also wanted to ask you if you could make a fix for the game Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, which has the same graphics engine, but the framerate drops a lot more frequently making it unplayable.
Hi!
Hello there! I have a problem about the fix :(
So i copied the three files (scripts folder, dsound.dll, dsound ini) in the Toy Story 2 installation folder. When I run the game I get this error:
toy2.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point GetThreadId could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll
The game works great without the fix files, but of course I would like to use the fix for the perfect experience :)
I'm using a Lenovo M85e Thinkcentre system with Windows XP 32 bit installed - updated intel and GPU drivers (G210) and all service packs installed. Any thoughts on what things i can try to make it work on my end? Thank you so much!
P.S. I'm really excited about this fix! TS2 was my childhood also so this is awesome! Thank you for taking the time to do this!
