pypairs breaks if adata contains sparse X about pypairs HOT 3 CLOSED

Should be no problem. In its current structure cyclone can't utilize the faster row slicing or arithmetic opperations CSR offers, thus I'd propose simply converting it back to a regular array in the utils/parse_data() function. Would that be acceptible?

This is how I workaround the issue at the moment, so this is absolutely fine by me. Not sure whether a warning should be shown as smaller machines might run into memory problems.
