Strip trailing whitespace about formatter-maven-plugin HOT 5 CLOSED

It would be great to add an option to enable this.

I believe trailing spaces are prior to eclipse 4.4 caused in javadocs only.  
This is now fixed in eclipse 4.4.  It would be nice to get a quick upgrade to 
eclipse 4.4 as using 4.4 is now causing conflicts in this area.  The problem 
now is that eclipse fixes the trailing spaces, and this plugin puts it back 
currently.

This is still present in Eclipse Mars as well. What it appears is that Ecipse fixed the javadoc trailing space issue in source cleanup not formatting. As such, since this project doesn't currently support source cleanup, we cannot easily fix this.

Since this issue cannot be fixed without supporting executing other Eclipse tasks, we should close this for now. Maybe Eclipse will eventually support proper trailing whitespace stripping in the future.
